A low-profile, hydraulic scissor lift with a lowered height of approximately 1.8 meters (5.9 feet), designed to be installed in-ground (in a pit) or at ground level in a service bay. It provides a stable, flush work platform for vehicle maintenance when fully lowered. A set of linked, folding scissor arms (the "scissors") are extended and retracted by hydraulic cylinders. When lowered, the top platform is flush with the shop floor. When activated, it raises the vehicle straight up to a comfortable working height, providing unobstructed access to the vehicle's undercarriage.
